Teacher Advice

The concept of teaching learning skills is strongly supported by the Department for Education and Skills. Yet it is rarely covered in teacher training courses.

The CHAMPS course also includes lots of practical, class-tested ideas for teachers on how to accommodate the varying learning styles of their pupils and how to increase motivation.

For every set of learning techniques there is a Teacher button. It contains practical advice on how a teacher can complement the ideas we are giving students.

In this way both students and teachers can work to a common understanding and framework of how students learn. Results prove that this helps support a climate of genuine collaboration between pupils and teachers.
